5 Ideas on How to Customize your Call To Action (CTA) on BuzzIt

Create a custom call-to-action (CTA) on BuzzIt. Here are a few ideas to get you started and help you host a successful event.

The BuzzIt home screen CTA (call-to-action) feature is yours to customize. With a prominent display on every type of view: live stream, full-screen and mobile, it's a great way to drive event goals or simply make your main message stick.

Within the CTA, you can customize the icon, the title and the body text. The body can hold up to 2000 characters and include links, emojis, lists, and text styling like bold, underlines and italics.

There are a million things you could do… here are a few ideas to get you started:

1. Increase Social Media Contest Entries

    • To leverage event attendees' social networks, many event organizers will run a simple contest on social media for the length of the event. For example, attendees can enter to win by posting a photo and mentioning or @-tagging the organizer or an event-specific hashtag

    • While this is a very straightforward win/win for the Attendee and the host, entries are usually very low simply because attendees forget or don't write down the correct tags
    • By simply adding the rules and a reminder of the prize at stake in their BuzzIt CTA section, one customer that had been holding a monthly social media contest for a year got a 500% increase in participation!

2. Website Link

    • You can use the CTA section to display key information about your company, like your mission, vision, goals, etc. This is a great area to provide the highlights of your company with a link to your website so that attendees can learn more.

3. Include Helpful Information

    • For in-person/hybrid events include any parking information, directions or even a link to a pinned google map location
    • For online events, include a welcome message, the event schedule,  or links to relevant websites

    • Remember that you can instantly update the CTA at any point, and some clients will take advantage of this by using it for custom pre, mid and post event messaging

4. Sponsor Information

    • On BuzzIt, your can showcase all your sponsors in the profiles section, but your Title Sponsor might appreciate a mention on the home page. Include a thank you and any custom link or offer that they might want attendees to visit or take advantage of.

5. Link Downloadable Content

    • Use this section to allow users to download any documents that may be useful for your event. For example, attach a PDF of the keynote speaker slide presentation
